03 UK Wide Numbers

03 numbers are the new non – geographic number range, calls to which numbers will be charged to the caller at the same rate as national 01 and 02 numbers.

That is around 3.5p to 4.5p per minute. They will be officially known as UK Wide numbers although we suspect they will become known simply as 03 numbers !

There are initially two sub ranges, both in the format of 03XXX XXX XXX.

0300 and 0303 are reserved for use by public bodies, charities and not for profit organisations. Users of these numbers will be able to differentiate themselves from commercial businesses. One of our number ranges is 0300 222 XXXX.

0330 and 0333 are ranges available to any organisation. One of our number ranges is 0333 222 XXXX. There will be an initial once only connection fee and an ongoing variable monthly charge based on call volumes. 03 numbers are enabled for international access into the UK from most overseas countries.
